Ann Skea has published "The Birthday Letters Archive in the British Library" on her website. This consists of notes on the many manuscripts, typescripts, drafts and lists of poems in Ted Hughes’ Birthday Letters archive, with reference to The Sorrows of the Deer, and to his use of Cabbala.
All of my Ted Hughes ephemera (press cuttings, reviews, theatre programmes, notes etc.) and my Hughes related e-mail correspondence with Lucas Myers and Daniel Weissbort (including drafts of books), and with Keith Sagar, has been donated to Pembroke College Cambridge. My commonplace books (diary-notebooks), a number of which include notes of meetings and telephone conversations with Olwyn Hughes, Daniel Weissbort and other friends of Ted Hughes, have now been acquired by the British Library.
