Many of Ted Hughes's translations and adaptations won him great critical acclaim. Selected and edited by his Cambridge friend Daniel Weissbort, Selected Translations opens a door into a part of Hughes's oeuvre that readers and researchers rarely look into. It also enlightens us as to several subjects that were so close to his heart that he chose to make his own translations of them as the Bardo Thödol.
