Daniel Huws was a close friend of Ted Hughes during their time in Cambridge.

This small book was originally intended as a contribution to a book project to commemorate the 10^th aniversary of Ted Hughes's death, which unfortunately was aborted. Three other essays from that book have been published in the meantime:
